Having been rejected four times for joint replacement surgery due to blood clots and other health problems, I thought that I would have to live the rest of my life in severe discomfort with osteoarthritis in both knees. It has been a pleasure to be treated by Dr. Dieguez and his staff. I had severe shooting pains in my hips, legs and joints which appeared to be musculoskeletal in nature. My orthopedist, tried a number of treatment modalities. While the pain subsided I improved marginally only. A neighbor, highly recommended me to consult Dr. Dieguez, which I did. The treatment of my spinal stenosis produced a quick and dramatic positive effect, alleviating and minimizing 90% of my pain and symptoms. I have been able to resume almost all of my activities of daily living with a minimum of discomfort.

" I am a 71 year old man. About a year ago I began having pain in my shoulder and hip. After seeing a orthopedist and two MRI's I found out I had tears in both areas. The orthopedist said I would need rotator cuff surgery and explained how that would be done and the recovery period. After doing a lot of reading I made and appointment with Dr. Dieguez to discuss my problem. After going over my MRI's and showing me visually where my problem was and discussing the different types of procedures he recommend Prolotherapy. The procedure was fairly painless, not much different than a flu shot or blood test. However the next morning I did have considerable discomfort. The procedure was at 1pm on a Wednesday and Thursday was a somewhat uncomfortable day, but on Friday I not only felt no pain I experienced considerable improvement in both my shoulder and hip. I found I could walk up my stairs with little to no pain. My advice to anyone considering orthopedic surgery is to look into regenerative medicine, after all what do you have to lose.
