We pride ourselves in being a medical office where the patient comes first and where you are treated as a person and not a number. We do not have a revolving door kind of operation where we just want to spin that revolving door as fast as possible at the expense of patient care and where you never talk to the doctor.
First, before your visit we like to gather as much information about your problem as possible. You will be asked to complete some new patient forms before the appointment so that at the time of your office visit and medical exam, I can go over it with you and present to you the different alternative to treat your condition and answer all of your questions. We find that patients need to be listened to and need time to address their concerns. At our office you are always seen by me the doctor and not by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. I will spend with you the time necessary without making you feel rushed.
At our office we work by appointments only and we strive to see you at the scheduled time. We believe that your time is as important as ours and that it is unfair to keep a patient waiting for hours on end in the waiting room.
Finally, in the event I find that I cannot treat your particular problem, I will try to guide you to the proper place for care and communicate with your primary care physician for continuity of care.
We are the only facility in St. Augustine exclusively dedicated to the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions by non-operative minimally invasive means. We perform the full gamut of interventional procedures always using the latest techniques and the most modern equipment available. We always use disposable equipment when possible, to avoid dangerous cross-contamination and to minimize the risk of infection. Additionally, all of our procedures are done using precision guidance by either utilizing fluoroscopy or ultrasound to ascertain correct and precise placement of the needle. This allows us to use minimum doses of medication, avoiding unpleasant side effects and dangerous complications. We were the first facility in St. Augustine to perform cells therapy using bone marrow aspiration using the Jamshidi needle to obtain the best quality cells.
Attention to the patient's comfort and well being is assured during every step of the visit. A visit to Dr. Dieguez's office begins with a comfortable waiting room. Putting it simply, "preceding, during and following treatment of your chronic musculoskeletal condition, my staff and I will make every effort to see that you receive the best and most sensitive care available.”
